I am a thoroughly mediocre Overwatch player (Reinhardt/Orissa main, but I’ve been playing DPS lately and really enjoying Ashe).
Other games I’ve played way too many hours of over the years: Diablo 2 and 3, Team Fortress 2, Halo 2, Call of Duty 4.
I compulsively replay Super Mario 64 in an emulator about once every two years or so.
Cooking
I call myself a cook, not a chef. I enjoy learning about the fundamentals of cooking.
I use recipes for inspiration, and tinker from there. Also, butter. Just put butter in it.
The two main sources of my cooking know-how: Alton Brown and Kenji Lopez-Alt
Filmgoing
I like movies, and I love seeing them in a crowded theater.
Top movie experiences: Seeing The Lobster at a packed opening-night crowd at BAM. Watching the tidal wave sequence of Interstellar at Lincoln Center’s massive IMAX. Twilight: New Dawn midnight show in college (yes, really. Hilarious good time with a packed, tipsy sorority girl crowd).
My two favorite films will always be Once and Ratatouille
